lets say brazil and angola plays how they talk to the ref?

most of the players know english and all the refs are tested in the command of the english language as well ... i know im a ref
also the typical hand signals and body language you see all the time
a finger held up to the mouth means be quiet a touch on the face for a foul against a player means im sorry or a handshake as well waving away of the hands and quickly backing away means get away from me
simple things like that

if the ref speaks portuguese too, problem solved..
typically they talk whatever similar (to each other's) language they know, english is getting popular and will become standard.
most of the communication is "that wasn't a foul" or "are you #!* retarded", so it's usually pretty perceptible from a few words and the attitude / gestures

English is a worldwide language. I mean, players, reffs, fans, and coaches can at least uderstand the meaning of "offside", "out", "goal" (everybody knows this one),etc. English is a well-known language and many football players have learned to speak the language...

I think they use the basic English for good word and their own language for bad word.
