You should still go to his party, and if he is mean to you just talk to him and do something to make him feel bad, Like try not talking to him for a while and then he'll miss you and be like, " Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know I was being so stupid."

I think you should try talking to your friend first, see what he says and if it sounds like he still wants to be your friend then hang in untill you just cant take it anymore.
