I would stay at Luxor. The Egyptian theme has been wonderfully done. I'd like to know more about how they designed the slanted elevators and general architecture of the resort.

You have elegant taste as shown with your choices. Have you toured Wynn's? Or the new Red Rock Station?

All of the big hotels on the Strip are great. The most important things that I consider are location, price, and in the summer you want to consider its pool area. So, I stay on the strip in the center of all of the hotel locations so that I can walk to see all of the hotels and casinos, and all of the free attractions. The best place to stay to do that is in one of the hotels on or nearest to Flamingo Rd & the Strip. At that corner is Ceasers, Bellagio, the Flamingo, Ballys, and the Paris hotels. I am not saying you need to stay in one of these but stay close to them. I do recommend the Flamingo if you are looking for a good price, location and pool.

The next thing I consider in picking the BEST place is price. Rates go down in the summer (and again after Thanksgiving, until about mid-January (except new years eve when prices double)). So I pick a place that has the best price for me. Ceasers and Bellagio will cost top dollar all of the time (like $150 and up) per night during the summer. Flamingo, Ballys and some others you can get into for around $100 (but most times for less) during the low seasons. Its also more expensive in all Vegas hotels on Friday and Saturday nights by $40 to $60 more, so to get a lower rate go Sunday and stay through Thursday night.

All of the big hotels have great pool areas. But the Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo and MGM hotels have wave pools, and lazy rivers for tubing or body floating. The Flamingo has a water slide (not big but nice and refreshing) and also a water fall. So I check their rates first if its in the summer.

I have stayed at Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, MGM, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Ceasers, the Rio, the Flamingo, Ballys, and Harrahs. But the BEST place for me when I go is who has the best price. Again, all of the Strip hotels are great. So I shop the web sites, look at the hotel rate calendars, and go when the price is the lowest. That's the best place to stay on the Strip for me. .

I was not impressed with Bellagios, but I did like Ceasers best.

Vegas baby is a wonderful place--and honestly I have been several times, and stayed in beautiful hotels like the Paris, and then I have stayed in not so beautiful hotels Westward Ho which is now been destroyed, but was sooo cheap! If you are wanting to stay in a beutiful hotel where everything can be done there--stay at the Mandalay Bay! But if you are the partier--and don't plan on sleeping much--don't spend the money--stay somewhere inexpensive like the Stratosphere--for an inexpensive place in the middle of it all--try the Barbary Coast! It has one of my favorite casinos--best odds and great buffet--real old Vegas style, and right next to the Paris and other fancy ones! The perfect hotel for you depends on what you are looking for!

Well dear lover of Las Vegas, I live here in Summerlin. I am old school. Over time, growing up in Texas, I traveled with Dad often as he had business here and I would go in the summer when school was out. I have a long-standing passion for Caesar's Palace. Plus, now it has Sushi Roku. I am not the only one that likes Sushi. It's a great place, relatively inexpensive, reservations are good and every single time I have run into someone. Britney Spears, Ben Affleck, Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughn to name a few. I don't go to star gaze but there they are. I love Caesar's and always will.

I actually like Circus Circus because that is the hotel my family has stayed in any time we went to Las Vegas, so it's like a family tradition thing for me and now also becuase they have that dome with a roller coaster inside and all sorts of other great things inside that dome.

We like the Bellagio because they have a no-strollers rule for non-guests...honestly, who takes a child to Sin City?!
