There is not yet an official release date for the seventh book, but when JK Rowling released book 6, she said that it would be at least 2 years before book 7 came out (so not before summer 2007). There was a rumor that the final book was going to come out on 7/7/07, but I think that someone just thought that it would be cool to release the seventh book on the day with a bunch of 7s in it. (Which I agree would be pretty cool.) There is doubt, though, that the movie (which, as officially announced by Warner Bros, will come out on July 13, 2007) and the book would be released so close to each other. JK Rowling has recentlly said that she is well into writing the book but didn't really give any other details. I hope it comes out summer 2007, though! Keep your fingers crossed!

I heard its apparnetly coming out 07-07-2007. It might even be on the 17th or 27th. But its something with a 7, because of it being the 7th book.

The 7th book is rumoured to be coming out on Saturday 7th July 2007, but it has not been confirmed yet.

Don't know but trust me on this...
Look up the origonal reviews for the Harry potter Nimbus 2000 broom toy that were posted on the Amazon site from parents.
The ones they have now are cover ups...

I agree that 07/07/07 would be a great date as it is the most magically powerful number (if you read HBP, you know what i mean).
And that date is around 18 mnths since HBP.
On another note JKR was interviewed on richard and judy (uk chat programme) and she says 2 people will die and harry is not safe. And that evill won't go after "extras".

i dont know when its out, but i know its already been written. JK wrote it first and is just editing and making sure no ends are left un tied. try the amazon thing
