aboard your space ship, you have 10 survivors. Your mission? Choose the best candidates to repopulate the space colony on planet X. You can only take six people! Who are your candidates, and why?

8. A female engineer age 46 (Cannibal)
9. A monk age 26 (normal)
10. A fisherman/hunter (Post traumatic stress disorder vietnam)

I would take #8, 6, 4,1,7 and myself. More females to reproduce. Wouldn't want the Schizo(3), it can be passed on.The lesbian(6)would have a child just for the fact they need to reproduce and the female Dr(4) could do artificial insemination and have a child.. When the lesbian biologist(6) got out of control we would let the cannibal(8) eat her. The homophobic(1) would love to hit all the ladies for the good of mankind.PPHH rite!

First -- you need to turn away from Mars and towards Planet X -- which I assume is habitable.

You need to take all the women for breeding -- with the possible exception of the gymnast. The fact that one is a drug addict isn't a problem -- as she won't be able to get drugs on the planet. The fact that one is a lesbian isn't a problem -- she will understand the need to have sex with the men despite her preferences. One might be a cannibal -- but it isn't in her best interest to kill anyone (and her preferences mean that she can probably cook up the four who don't make it). The doctor can determine if the gymnast will cause problems or if her disease is hereditary. If so, then she gets eaten.

The monk, the musician and the electrician are useless or redundant (talking about what they can do -- not their preferences & traits).

I say we eat the monk, the musician, the electrician and the gymnast.

Some may say to kill the scientist -- but he can still produce babies, knows wha tthe electrician knows and knows a lot of other stuff that they need. In fact, he is the most important member of the group.
