If you stumbled into a deep tar pit.
As you were sinking up to your waist, you took out a smoke and lit it.

The tar and nicotine, tobacco and firearms would cut you down to size.

No joke.

I agree with the second person who answered the question. It harms smokers twice as much as those who don't but unintentionally inhale cigarette smoke (second-hand smoke).

Both nicotine and tar can not only permanently discolor your teeth (smokers), but also cause lung cancer in both active and passive smokers.

I have seen pictures of lungs damaged by cigarette smoke when I was in Medical Transcription school. Believe me, they are not a lovely sight.

The primary problem with cigarettes is that they contain many cancer-causing agents (carcinogens). They don't stunt your growth.
