I believe the manufacturer determines the price of booze. I think it is determined by the state the amount of tax. Am I wrong?

per the Constitution the states have the right to control alcohol within there border

you do.if you don't drink it the price will go down in an effort to sell it.you drink a lot of it,and the price stays up because it's the law of supply and demand.

state controls everything,and the way inflation is ,it sure going to drive the price even higher,but that is not going to stop us from drinking it now is it
