They have actual lessons and test. Great teachers and good players. If you are truly interested in being a student of the game this is the site. The cost is $15 a month. If you just want to play around then go to the free sites but the play is crazy and no lessons or teachers...u choose.

If you want to learn Texas Hold'em, (that's with a "D" not an "E") you'll want to learn with play money. And the ONLY place you want to do that is TruePoker.com. Think you'll realy enjoy the 3D poker rooms. This place is nothing but fun. Do be warned... people will talk trash. If they make you mad, they have the edge. It's just part of the game. I keep the chat options turned off now and again myself. One less destraction. Know what I mean? Good luck at the tables.

i know if you go to www.partypoker.com, and type in the code DOL25 when ou make your first deposit they will give you a free 25$... its a good way to get started for as little as 25$out of your own pocket... it worked for me at least...
