When I click on a news video clip on Yahoo or CNN the player opens, but nothing happens. The video part stays gray and the bottom has 'Done' displayed.

If it just says "Done" that means it didn't get the video file from the server. Refresh the page a few times and it should start buffering. My WMP does this too, and it is annoying, but hit F5 (refresh) and you should be okay. Hitting stop and play/pause repeatedly won't work.

you should try going to Microsoft and downloading windows media player 11 it works great..

Program won't work with Internet Explorer go to "Tools".."Manage Add-ons...and "Enable" the program not working.

WINDOWS PLAYER IS JUST CRAP. YOU SHOULD LOAD REALPLAYER AND MAKE IT YOUR DEFAULT.
