A) Life in prison without parole.
With the death penalty, you have time to make peace with yourself and those you've wronged, and can prepare for the day when the curtains drop.
But with life in prison, you have nothing. It's akin to being trapped in a little cardboard box for the rest of your days, limbs severed and nothing to numb the pain of helplessness. You can't think of the day when it's all going to be over, because that day never comes, not until you finish the job yourself. There's nothing to look forward to, no pretty pictures or dreams for the future. At best, insanity may take over and spare the agony of the same four walls, night after sleepless night, may be a transport to another world in which you are free, but the moments are fleeting and far between. Life inprisonment is an unending torture, a rack upon which a life is strapped and stretched, lashed with the whip of cruelty, the scourge of eternal damnation. A life imprisoned within a box is no life at all, though the body still lives. The life imprisoned is an unspeakable torture, while the slow, steady death of day-by-day cleansing of a death penalty is humane and forgiving.

I think the death penalty is worse for a few reasons, first off if you're sentenced to life in prison you can normally still be in the general population of the prison, have some kind of social life (not saying a good one but better than nothing at all) and you always face the slim chance that some day you will be released, a lot of legal systems consider 20 years to be "life".
If you are facing the death penalty you are in confined quarters away from any contact with any other human beings and your life is a constant reminder of your death sentence plus a lot of convicts spend years and years on death row so it's not the easy way out at all.
P.S. No, I don't have any personal experience in jail but I watched OZ on HBO.

Life in prison without parole. That's because you know you will have to live with nothing, confined like an animal till you die.
Death Penalty is the easy way out. Don't you think so?

Life in prison without parole. Because you have longer to suffer for what you have done. At least with the death penalty you know when you are going to die.

Life without parole or death without parole? Our time on earth is limited as it is, and at least with life w/o parole a person can visit with their loved ones, read books, listen to music, look up at the sky and see birds flying around, maybe engage in some interesting "con"versations about crimes gone wrong, maybe a conjugal visit every now and then... Once you're dead, you're dead, and who knows what that's really all about?! Fear of the unknown sways me toward The Death Penalty as being worse.

The death penalty, of course. I don't think I'm ever going to be ready to die. At least if you have a life sentence you can still write letters and see your friends and family on occasion. Besides, I've heard prison life isn't actually all that bad once you get used to the whole "no privacy" part. I want to live as long as completely possible. I enjoy life to much to have it put to an end as part of the legal system.

A)Life in prison without parole
We all have some common needs, psychologucal characteristic, and need of "space",free utterance of emotions, etc.I believe that even a murderer need at least some of those things to feel yourself "humane",to perserve his sanity. So the life prison without parole is more humane, but affects deeper the jailor and for me is a more appropriate punishment than Death penalty..It's too easy to die..It's tough to proceed life with the awareness that will be confined between four walls..!!

I think life is worst because you have to sit there and LIVE with yourself and have no control over anything that you do. I think it is the same as when my mother would ask if I would like to go to bed as a punishment or if I would like to get the belt. Sometimes it would be like 2:00 on a Saturday and I could hear my sibling and friends having fun outside. I would beg for a whooping so that it was over. And to me death penalty is over for the person in trouble and that is it. I know that everyone is afraid of death but it is not suffering and learning from
