WELL SHE IS YOUR SISTER. I HAVE ONE, AND WE ARE 2 YEARS APART. I KNOW SHE IS PRETTIER THAN ME, BUT I ALSO KNOW THAT I AM PRETTY IN MY OWN WAY.
SHE IS YOUR SISTER, YOUR HOMIE. YOU CAN LEARN FROM HER. SHE CAN GIVE YOU HAIR AND MAKE-UP TIPS, AND IM SURE SHE WOULD BE GLAD TO HELP YOU OUT.
MY SISTER, WHEN SHE FOUND OUT I SERIOUSLY NEEDED HER HELP, SHE WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP ME. SHE GAVE ME AWSOME MAKE-UP ADVISE, AND SHE SHOWED ME COOL WAYS TO DO MY HAIR.
YOU CAN ALSO LEARN YOURSELF BY EXPERIMENTING. BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO IT ON A WEEKEND, THAT WAY IF YOU SERIOSLY SCREW UP, YOU HAVE THE WEEKEND TO RECOVER. DURING THE SUMMER IS GREAT TOO :)

I had, have, and will always have this problem with my sister. I have learned how to live with it, and eventually you will too. I understand how tough it is to break out and just get away from her. There isnt much you can do because competing with her can only cause hosility and ruin the relationship. It helps to learn what is good about you, and what makes you special so that she isnt always above you. It's hard and Im still working on it, but time will tell. Just keep your head up.

I don't have any sisters, but I saw this a little in my brothers (ok, not the pretty part, but the competition).
I'd suggest ignoring her "cool-ness" and her looks- I'm willing to wager that she puts her pants on one leg at a time. She's got things in her life she hates and there may be things where she's jealous of you.
Find your strengths- something that you love and go for it. Life is not a competition, unless you make it such. Life is about learning. Learn who you are, and discover your own beauty and love yourself for it.

Caring about looks and being popular is so superficial. Try just being nice and open minded to everyone and not worry about unimportant things so much. Just live your life and enjoy your sister.
My brother is hot/cute according to almost everyone I talk to and it used to really bother me but he's really just fun to hang around with and dosn't really try to make people like him.

my opinion is dont try to mmm be more sexy more pretty be urself and i knew alot of sister that we say the younger is so much cutter than the older who thinks herself more pretty and acts that way
the cute is more attarctable that the pretty for real realation not sex

sounds cliche, but just be yourself. you probably dont realize it because you're so close to her, but no body is completely happy with who they are all the time. love yourself, and other people will see how radiant you are in your own skin. people are attracted to people who respect and love themself. it's hard, and words go further than actions, but give it a go. im sure people around you will notice a change, and will be attracted to it!

nothing, i use to think the same about my younger sister and now she looks older then me and not that attractive either.
