can disability be used to pay alimony..if yes or no please provide your source, web sight, book or state reg............ i'm in the state of FLORIDA

Disability money is money...there are no strings attached to it. You don't give much info, so this is the only answer you get.

Yes it can, if your wondering whether or not they can garnish your disability check to pay your alimony, the answer is yes. Especially if any child support is in there with that, if there isn't any child support with it, you might be able to fight it? But only if you have another source of income to fall back on to pay the alimony with probably. Otherwise, they'll take it out of your disability. Government pays Government you know.

I'm on disability and I've been told by S.S. that nobody can touch it for any reason. If you have any other income; that they can get.

check with the social securith office if thats what he gets, i dont think they can touch disability
