After todays game do u agree that Ghana is the Brazil of Africa?That title was given to Ghana after the current coach of Brazil coached Ghana in the 60s.

It is insulting to call Ghana "the brazil of Africa". Ghana is Ghana and Ghana has a good football/soccer team. They should be recognized for their own merit and not "the brazil of Africa". bottom line, they are good, i have been very impressed with the Ghanaian team. watch out for them in 2010.

Brazil's been contenders every world cup, this is the only one for Ghana that I'm aware of. If you participate in the next 3 or 4 you may be able to say that. I thought Nigeria would be after 1994, they had a powerful team. But after '98 they seem to have faded away.

Definitely. Ghana has caused a big impression on this World Cup, even to be their first appearance. Ghana can be considered the Brazilo of African football.

Nigeria is # 1 in Africa without a doubt and no other African country can deny that...we just have issues with teamwork and mainly corruption..But without a doubt Ghana deserves credit for today..that offside is still pissing me off cuz one goal and make a difference in the whole flow of the game..did u see how the Ghanians penetrated the Brazillian defense? it was just that they had dificulty finishing something that wouldn't have happened if that player (dunno his name) hadn't been carded

Guana played very strong today, they went all in, they didnt care, and they didnt hold anything back untill the very end. Once they pretty much knew they had lost it seemed they all gave up. And i think that is when you as a player show your character, even though you know you will lose, you should still give 100%... Nigeria, Guana, Senegal(miss spelled i think) even though not all of them went into the world cup i think they are all good teams(their players have the ability to shake their hips with the ball and dance with it... not like european soccer).. due to the sociel level of those countries, and civil problems they have it makes it very hard for them to make as far as they did... they are certainly good teams... but out of them, who knows who is the best out of that??
