I mean, Goku turning SSJ4 was cool and all that, but there were so many other things about GT that annoyed me-- like Goku being a kid, and the show implying a "relationship" between Trunks and Pan even though there was a huge age difference, and the show focussed mostly on Goku, Trunks, and Pan and not much on the many other characters in the show, and Trunks looked different--he was much hotter in DBZ, and the villains in GT were all weak (except the Android who was strong, but still got defeated by a punch from Goku) and most of the villains were robots... yea... so I basically hated it. Anyone else hated it?

DBGT is the biggest let down in the history of Anime if you ask me. I thought that the next stage after DBZ was going to be this amazing saga of action and unique villains, but instead it turned out to be a really silly series that didn't anything but make loyal DB and DBZ fans hate the new path of the franchise. Its like the whole Matrix syndrome, because you know how bad the last one is, and how the series is going to end it takes the fun out of viewing the first parts. GT tried to one-up DBZ by being over the top, instead it was a piece of animated crap which just wasted artist and developers time, energy, end money.
Peace.

Well that is what happens when you make a show without the premission of the Creator...Toriyama had nothing to do with it and has even said that GT is not part of the real continuity..so yeah..it was crap...but thats NOT even talking about the US cut of the show that rearranged episodes and once again left stuff out....*sigh*...anyway I'm hoping for a better end but Toriyama-san has said that he wont do anything else for the DB universe

the reason is because dbgt is non-canon and was not made by toriyama but he did do some drawings for SS4 goku and yeah i was a Little disappointed especially at the plot but i was happy to see my all time favorite character "vegeta" turn into a SS4

Dragonball GT was a complete waste of time.
CLEARLY, they decided Trunks was too hot. They had to make him weird-looking so they could concentrate on the storyline, which they still failed at!

Lets just say I like to pretend it never happened and due the fact that you are bringing up, you are bringing back some memories for me that hurt very deeply

Yeah I thought that was a rip-off too! After watching five episodes of DBGT I quit watching it, I decided that it was a waste of my time and that I should just be happy with the old episodes.

Yes, a horrible, horrible rip off, and the creators should be ashamed of them selves.
