Yes, you are leading someone on. Why not try flirting with your spouse - it will spice things up!

Perhaps I'm still an unmarried hopeless romantic, but the person that i ideally would want to marry would be someone that i would a) not WANT to flirt with other people because of and b) someone i loved enough to feel ridiculously guilty about if i did. but if i were to flirt with someone else (real or electronic), I'd hope that i could go to my wife and calmly talk it out and wipe my conscience clean. then we'd go eat magic pancakes while ice skating on rainbows in the land of cute puppies and unicorns.

so yeah, i think it's wrong, but i can totally see myself doing it someday.

I don't think it is. people flirt all the time even married people do. come on people let's be honest everybody has flirt with someone when you are married or not. there nothing wrong with it as long as you don't take it to the next level.

it is kinda wrong. because marrying or being in a relationship is all about commitment. how would u feel if ur loved one is flirting with some one else. but innocent flirting can't hurt so much. but u have to be really really careful with flirting.....

well, put yourself in the other persons shoes and think about what you would feel if things were the other way around.

i think its wrong, because even flirting that might be considered harmless, can lead to other things... such as desire for something different. if you are happy with what you have, there is no reason to go poking around in other areas to see what else there is out there.

playful flirting even if its only a little bit, can be hurtful to your partner and damaging to your relationship. if you were my husband, and you were flirting online, it would hurt our trust. if you do it online, then you do it everywhere else too...

i wouldnt do it.

Depends on your gender. Most women would say any thing emotional is cheating. Like befriending a female and confiding in her. A woman would expect you to come to her with your confidences. Some would say thinking it is as good as doing it. So if you contemplate the crime you are guilty. Men on the other hand would not consider anything cheating until you get the other person's clothes off. Some would say that oral sex isn't cheating! That just blows my mind.

No but it could get to be more than flirting and that is wrong. I am a strong believer that sharing feelings with someone outside your marriage is as bad and sometimes worst than sex outside of it. Because you are sharing something that is VERY personal and that always means something unlike people that can have sex with no feelings involved

Flirting is a art, the more you practice the better you get. Some know how, some don't. If you not trying to seduce some one, it's OK
