Seagate 300 GB, Sata 3.0gb/s, 16 MB cache?

Is it true this hard drive is unreliable? I've read alot of review on newegg saying that they got it and it was DOA, had problems after a few days/weeks...

Oh yeah and will the NCQ on it work with a A8R32?

I don't have any experience with Seagate HDD's, but I have heard from people who have used them in heavy usage situations and they say that they are not all that good. They recommend Western Digital first and Maxtor a close second. I have built a couple of computers, and I buy most of my parts from newegg.com. I do trust the customer comments, especially the last two months, this may show a trend in quality issues.
