Sounds a little like eczema.
Talk to your doctor or dermatologist about your concerns and they can diagnose this better than almost all of the people on here.

Eczema doesn't cause pimples. You probably just have an acne problem. You should go to a dermatologist and find out. What eczema does cause is a rash. Below is a link that will better inform you on the symptoms of eczema. Below is also a link about acne. Compare the two to determine the difference between the two. Then take it from there.

There are several different skin disorders that this discribes...where exactly are the pimples? are the scabs from scratching and picking? If it is only on the face and back then its acne if its elsewhere than it could be eczema but there are many things that it could be...

Besides either of your choices, it may be more of an allergic reaction affecting the skin. I have food allergies that causes bumps on my arms and thighs...when I take my allergy medicine and avoid the foods I have a sensitivity to the rash/pimples decrease. Either way, you should follow up with your physician in order to get diagnosed and treated appropriately.
