Sure. If something leaks inside the refrigerator or icebox compartment, it will likely leak through the door.
If there is an icemaker or water dispenser and the line develops a leak, it will likely leak and cause damage.
Ordinarily, the condensed evaporate from the freezer interior will drip down to the heating coils, and re-evaporate. If the coils aren't satisfactorily heating and/or the base-level drip pan is missing or leaking, the condensed evaporate could be enough to cause damage.

yes, try defrosting it. the drain tube is probably frozen. I had the same problem last year and after letting it defrost for a few hours, it started working again. no problems since. also check the drain pan under the fridge to make sure its in the right place and not full.

Check the drain tube. You can usually access it from the inside. If so, take it out and clean it. Sounds like it's clogged; and empty the drain pan under the frig.

there is a drain pan under you refer it must be in the right place to work right
