And you're right, if we couldn't use all of our brains, there are many cases where you would die. Though there are cases where people have continued to live with damaged or removed areas.

Some people even think that the higher your IQ is, the more power you can use in your brain. So therefore, Einstein and others like him have been theorized to be able to use more power than others.

It comes from a study which had misinterpreted findings. I guarantee you will never find any truly scientific document that states that we only use 10% of our brain or our minds. In fact, IF that were true, it would be a major blow to the theory of evolution: Evolution predicts that every single brain cell is used and is needed for some purpose. It also predicts that there is NO "untapped potential" in the human mind. If we ever discover one, then we will have to rethink natural selection, because natural selection would not produce such a thing.

We use 100% of our minds, and 100% of our brains. Many people do not want to accept this, because then it becomes obvious how limited and feeble our minds really are (some are more feeble than others).
