we have some friends in japan in the service can you use the yahoo messenger with voice to talk to them or can you just IM them thanks

yes you can because i have used yahoo messanger to talk to my mom back home in the states it is a lot cheaper that using the phone to talk.....

You and the person you call both need Yahoo! Messenger with Voice, plus a microphone and speakers (or headset.)

i'd say sure yet I actually have not in any respect talked to all people from Japan. I actually have talked to human beings from different elements of the international and that i have not had a topic. today I actually have a chum in Taiwan and we've not in any respect had any complications. good success!
