There aren't "always." there are in some couples. I know two butch lesbians that are a fantastic couple -- and many masculine/masculine gay male couples. Also several couples of gay men who would probably both be labeled "effeminate."

Why is anyone attracted to anyone? Why are some people attracted to red hair? Can't know. Just happens.

Let's here it for gender binaries! In my current relationship neithe rmyself nor my partner is any more masculine or feminine than the other. We both have moments where we might be more one than the other, but this is also gender stereotyping. You're implying there is always a "man" and always a "woman" in a relationship, but why does this have to be so? It isn't even always the case in a straight relationship. The problem is that we assume men are supposed to act one way and women another. It's also interesting to note that the things we associate with how women "tend to act" are the things that we also typically use as insults, but the opposite is not true. Anyone else notice something fishy here? Patriarchy at it's best. And patriarchy doesn't like the idea that there could be more than just "masculine" and "feminine" and that members of either sex could be either...and heaven forbid they be both.

In every relationship there is a dominant person. But I do agree with you, in a gay relationship if the stronger man has a very effeminate partner. Why not just have a real woman?

It's purposely choosing the imitation brand instead of the real thing.

essentially in our human culture we are either identify as male-musculine or female-feminine...when someone had a child, one always asked is it a girl or a boy? As children most strongly identify with the same gender. With some gay men and lesbians, because of their orientation they identify with the opposite sex instead of same sex . So some gay men identify with their mothers and some lesbians identify with their fathers...thus both aquire the behavior of their role models respectively.....

There isn't. You're dealing in generalized stereotypes.

Chances are good you've seen plenty of gay couples walking down the street, shooting hoops, etc... and wrongly assumed they were just friends because they didn't fit your notion of what a gay couple looks like.

Most cases there are not two different types, some guys just like guys who are masc some like guys that are not, some cases there are one of each in a relationship. Look at straight relationships one masc one femme.

Your question demonstrates remarkable ignorance on your part. I would hope you have more information in other areas of your life...otherwise, I suspect you would be serving hambergers at McDonalds (you don't work at McDonalds, do you...and I certainly hope I have not offended McDonald employees!) The word, "Always" indicates you have no clue as to what goes on in the world. I have no idea what you have been watching but my observations are very different than yours...I suspect mine are correct and yours are not.

Its their weak imitation of a normal relationship. Doesnt matter if its two men or two women, one pretends to have the balls and the other the vagina.
