I think they're doing pretty well...ghana was a great team and they deserved to get this far if not even further (so wished they'd have played against italy - they would have won!!)...but brazil is every time around a difficult opponent to win against and that was just not luck to be in their 'group'...
with the different climate in africa...that actually would be to their advantage.

Firstly African countries don't get many places in the world cup.It was this WC that Africa was represented by 5 countries.Also most teams don't get to prepare adequately for the tournament.Also some pple believe that there is a plot to prevent African teams from advancing in the World Cup.
for the person who said Africans don't do well in European weather how are our players who play in European leagues able to cope and play well?

What do you mean by doing well? At least Ghana did better than the 16 teams that left after the first round. And if you look you will see that they are from all parts of the world. Give them a break!

1.some of their best players- already sold or naturalized to other countries.

3. its the second largest continent in the world, with so much competition(apart from tunisia all the orther are first timers) in soccer, but only 5-countries participate. Europe-8.

don't ever bash african countries ppl!
it's tough for them because they don't have the quality present in africa that there is in south america, europe, or... dare i even say it... the US
in addition, they are very physical, so they have to majorly adjust when they play in fifa
they also don't really have the tradition of doing well
african temperatures are different than european temps....

I wouldn't say that... Ghana put U.S. in their misery,and plus, I have a friend who's directly from Africa, and he says that where he's from they always play Soccer

japan,korea,saudi,iran etc...
it is more s.american and europe countries in the game...
(but i ain't complaining... ok maybe a little bit)
