Can anyone tell me what the older 1950's color photos's are called of the women who pose for cigarette ads, or the models posing with pretty umbrella's and stuff. I can't really explain what it is I am looking for, for it would be better if I could show an image on here instead. If you think you "get" what I'm talking about, Id sure appreciate your help.

It sounds like you're talking about pin up girls!!! I like 'em too! Hope I was of some assistance!

I'm not certain, but I think the 'look' you're after is actually illustration done in a photo-realistic style. I can picture in my mind the types of images you're referring to and I think they can be attributed to talented airbrush artists, not photographers.

Check out Kodachrome! Also, try Technicolor in films.
