DOG

Dogs I believe are the best, but it does depe3nd on the kind of dog you get. First off, rottrallers are unpredectiable, but that doesn't stop me from loving them. Ok, cats are ok, people believe that cats are clean, but cats carry louds of bacteria under their claws. The do lick theirself clean but all the fur that goes in the stoamch has to come out and it can't be digested, so you have fur balls everywhere. Cats may be easy to potty train, but I would rather go to the trouble of potty training a dog because a litter box stinks. A trained dog will hold it in intill you open the door to let him out, inless you abandan him then he is just going to get back at you. Also if you get a dog make sure you have a fence. That way, when you go some where you can put him in it. Alot of dogs don't do to well cooped up in a house all day, esp, if they are big.

I would pick cat because 1. they are more playful than dogs, 2.They are more cuter than dogs, 3.They use up the extra yarn around the house, 4.They are alot nicer than dogs are, 5.They are alot softer than dogs are, 6.They don't lay around the house all day like dogs do. So, personally I would prefer cats not dogs.

Personally, I prefer the dog.

The dog is a better companion animal and can do more for you. The dog can work, protect, love and care for, and are MUCH easier to train than cats.

Cats only show affection when they want something, but dogs are willing to show love whenever you ask for it. Dogs are also better with children and other animals if trained right.

Plus, they are overall easier to care for. Cats have so many diseases and things that they can pick up and spread to other animals as to where dogs are over all more sanitary creatures (even if cats do clean themselves obsessively).

Cats I love. Cats are very low maintenance, and I need low maintenance with a large household. People say they have no personalities, but they sure do. My cat is very affeciate and she sleeps with me every night. Also if I want to go to the beach for a couple of days she does not freak out we make sure she has a big bag of cat food open and lots of water in her bowl, and even fill up the tub just in case. If we leave her at a kennel she might catch a disease, I have had that happen to my other pets, one got parvo. My cat is 13 years old and she is such a big part of our families lives. I like it that she is calm cool and collected and does not run around like a dog. In being like this she is good for my blood pressure.lol (CAts rule Dogs druel Just joking) p.s. she is also cuddly like a baby. whatever.lol Got to love her.lol
p.s. Cats are mysterious, and are like a little tiger.

I love both!We have 3 house cats(pictures on my360).A big reason for having cats instead of a dog is that I don't have to take them out at weird hours and dogs also need constant attention. My cats of course love attention, but bath themselves and all use a liter box.My house does not smell like cats either.Changing the liter box once a day, food and fresh water is the biggest trouble they are.♥

Dog

Oh, the answers you'll get. I was always a dog person but was "adopted" by a stray cat who is now 14. Then two dogs "adopted" us. I love them all, but the cat is my baby since he went through cancer with me. All in all, cats are MUCH easier to care for - no going outside, can stay by themselves for several days. They're easier for someone who is older. The dogs are more trainable and loyal, but I got lucky and my cat is extremely affectionate and smart and I love his idiosyncrasies!

I used to like cats better b/c they were quietter and needed less care, but now i like dogs better because they have more feeelings and are always there for u. Dogs will love u no matter what and usually always have a personality. Cats on the other hand are usually shy and keep to themselves.

CATS!! Low maintenance,It can go to the bathroom by itself. no need for alot of attention- They play hard to get!(Which is awesome cuz it only makes u want it even MORE!) And they're not emiotional sensitive a\so if u yell @ it for doing something wrong, they won't hold a grudge or get depressed like a dog does.In fact, you have to WORK for a cat's emotion wich makes it all more fun! Plus they're cuddly!
