Why the heck not? I'm over 35, I can afford the filing fee, and I'm a native-born U.S. citizen(but you knew that). I wouldn't run as Democrat or Republican, I'd be the candidate of the Donner Party. I would turn the former site of New Orleans into a national park. I would ENFORCE existing immigration laws, for a change. I wouldn't hassle gays who want to get married, because they have a right to be as miserable as anybody else. I would set a cap on CEO pay. We could change the official language of the U.S. to Esperanto, so that way EVERYBODY would have to learn it. My administration would pass harsh legislation on "reality" shows. Everyone who votes in an election will receive free lottert tickets and a music CD of their choice. Maybe THEN they'd show up at the polls! BUCY IN 2008! BTW, you guys can choose my Vice-Presidential running mate.
