Professor X's mind was in the body of the comatose man we saw earlier in the movie.

After the credits you she Maura McTaggert in a room with a man who was in a coma earlier in the movie when charles xavier was talking to her. You hear a voice that sounds like charles so she looks at the man and says charles and it ends.

Remember the video thet Xavier was watchng with his student with
the comotose man. Well at the end they pan to that hospital wing and Moira Mctaggert is caring for that gentleman. Then you hear him
say "hello, Moira" and she says "Charles!". He somehow transfered his mind into the comotose man.
