No, a dog has not the adult human ability to say no, to sign a written legal contract, which is what a marriage is. A marriage is not something religious although it may be sanctioned by a church. If you think it is solely a religious affair, try dissolving it only by going into a church. You cannot. You must go into a court of law to do so. Likewise, the state in which you get married must grant the license to get married. It is not up to a church to grant such a license.
I find it very strange that whenever two humans of the same gender wish to have the same rights as those of complementary gender do under the law, the first thing so-called religious people bring up is beastiality. It does say something very fundamental about these so-called straight folks, doesn't it: that they have a deep-seated desire to have carnal knowledge of animals. *sigh* All gays and lesbians are asking for is the same protection under the laws of their country as other people do: inheritance, insurance, visitation in hospitals, custody.
BTW, I am straight not that it matters. And no, I do not want to marry my neighbor's dog or cat.

If all should have the right, then sure. If one unatural unionis supported, why not another? Polygamy, incest , bestiality; homosexuality will gradually pave the way for them.
The only one I have no problem with is polygamy.
