Not sure, but most of the sound-track was a collaberation between Peter Weir & Maurice Jarre?

There is a track about the coast and caves or something, and the one that may match what you are searching for was called 'Dead Child' or maybe 'Death of Child'..... I think I have the album, or copy(!).... but can't find it now as I'm packing to move home!!!

Anyway, a great film, with some really excellent music to help it along!
