He was a wallabe, and yes that show was hilarious! Loved sparky the way he would scoot his butt across the floor! And of course, the "suck o lux" A cow raised by wolves?....why not?

Rocko's Modern Life is the story of Rocko who is a wallaby, born and raised in the sunburned land Down Under, Australia. A few years ago, he left the comfort of his native continent and came to live in the United States(Because of a bully named Dingo). Since then, he's managed to pick up an assortment of oddball, but well-meaning, friends including: gluttonous Heffer Wolfe (actually a Steer, who, at a young age, was adopted by a family of wolves), faithful (but none-too-bright) pet pooch named Spunky, and paranoid hypochondriac Filbert(That's really how they spell it on the show) (a turtle with a personal philosophy: "Turn the page, wash your hands, turn the page, wash your hands").
Other characters include The Bigheads (Rocko's irritable next-door neighbors), Dr. Paula Hutchison (an always smiling doctor-of-all-trades, and love interest of Filbert), and two slippery characters known as The Chameleon Brothers (Chame and Leon). These folks live in a bizarre district known as O-Town, which is actually under the industrial monopoly of a huge corporation called Conglom-O (their slogan is We Own You). Stephen Hillenberg(The Guy who produced the 4th Season) still found success after Rocko, when he created SpongeBob SquarePants in 1999.
Most of the episodes revolve around Rocko trying to cope with the absurdities and difficulties in modern life. And living in a place like O-Town, you can bet there are plenty of those!

Yes I love that cartoon. He was a wallaby. Some sort of Australian animal. My favorite is his friend heifer. I forget his friend the turtle. I want to say Linus but that's the peanuts. And his neighbors the Big Heads. My favorite episode is when heifer moves out of the house b/c he finds out he's adopted. Which is funny cause is whole family are wolves. And he moves into the fast food sign and the roaches take over. Too funny.

I always thought he was a dog, but the mention of kangaroo also sounds about right. LOL that show was so ridiculous! I remember that huge lady that he always ran into, and she would always say, "How dare you!" in the funniest deep voice, then slap him across the room...
My favorite episode was when he realized his laundry had piled up all over the place. When they drew something to be gross, it really looked gross! That's what made the show so funny...

He was a kangaroo, most of the time he was referred to as a wallabe, I think it is a smaller kangaroo. Great show, kinda eerie but good.
Hefer paved the way for Patrick.

I'm not sure what he was, but I haven't seen that show in sooooo... Long! I can only remember one episode and that's the one where he goes to a cruise ship and someone opens a vertex galaxy or something like that and they all get sucked into that world.
