It depends on the length of the relationship, if its a first date then they might decide to go dutch, if its a longer relationship then they pay according to their agreement, they might pool their money. If they are living together then it's just like any couple . Things like that come natural as you grow together. The rules aren't different in a gay/lesbian relationship. Paying becomes part of you as a couple. No need to decide who will pay . I have found that being comfortable with someone requires no monetary agreement on a date.

If I asked her, I pay. If she asked me, I offer to split the bill but usually she pays. I guess for me it just depends on who asked whom. But then again I have never expected anyone to pay my way in anything.

It depends if it's the first date then maybe split the bill, but if I offered to take my guy to dinner then I would pay, but if he took me to dinner then he would pay. Or sometimes we switch it around.

Whoever asks the other person to go out. If I ask a girl out, I pay. If they ask me out, they pay.

Sounds fair to me.

It depends who asked. Whoever asked needs to cough up the dough. Then the person who doesn't really needs to put out cause I am really sick of prude bitches. ;P haha Just kidding.
