Some humans will evolve in space. They will not have legs. With the weightlessness, walking will not be a part of life. The legs will evolve into an extra set of arms and hands. Perhaps those on earth will again have four legs and four feet. Those on Mars will have very large nostrils and lungs as they will need to take very deep breaths in the thin atmosphere developed by the plants that were part of the terraforming of the planet.

The answer to that question would depend on several factors.
One is, our current environment and the environment we will inhabit in the future.
As an example, if ultraviolet levels increase a great deal we would evolve to deflect
these harmful rays. That could mean thicker more rugged skin. Over populated villages and cramp living areas in the past have been known
to produce smaller sized individuals. What if millions of years from now another species develop that surpasses humans?
We would then develop some sort of defense mechanism for that specific predator.
Because of our increasing intelligence our skull size could increase to accommodate an advancing brain.
It is indeed an interesting question that has many different possible answers

Wow.. some really wacko answers above me...
If you look at these answers you'll be able to build a picture of what we are going to evolve into...
I mean we're given the ability to communicate and control our environment and a big mass of morons on this planet say "GOD" is responsible for that...
We're not going to evolve as we are..
What will happen is one bunch of us will find a way to leave this planet to the god squaddies and we'll go off and evolve into some wildy advanced beings..
The god squaddies will go on killing each other in the name of God and Peace and hopefully they will become so good at this they will wipe themselves out and the sane ones among us will be able to return to this pretty damn beautiful planet.

Well I believe that depends on your spiritual alliances, If we love and honor God, we have the potential to become sons and daughters of God. I believe we will have bodies of light energy instead of physical bodies. On the other hand if our alliances are not with God and are in darkness, then we don't have to worry about evolving into anything, because we will be in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his angels

I think there is no certainy or pre destination in evolution. Species adapt to their environments over time. If certain characteristics are of an advantage for survival they will likely be of benefit and be passed on. If the change (mutation) is non beneficial the species is not likely to survive. I believe we will be different and have different characteristics with environmental changes and world getting smaller with globalization:

Knowing that human beings of today look a little bit like little baby monkeys, one could imagine that adult human beings of a distant future will look like children human beings of today.
These little beings of the future will keep control of the puberty process. Through drugs, and diet, they will provoke artificial puberty in humans meant for war, and for mining, and boozing. These will look like us, with big voices, hair, and breasts for the females, and the little kidmen of the future will think them scary, and repulsive.

We will be covered in long fur all over our bodies to protect us from the radiation after we try bombing each other. We'll only live to be 10 years old or so and go through puberty at age 3.

what we will evolve into or look like will depend on all the variables of the planet.. like temp., air quality & sea level. we may evolve differently once we settle on another planet also.

it depends in a lot of variables and if we're patient enough not to kill each other, but I assume that most human beings in the future will be a lot smarter, bigger and will live longer than we do, let's just pray that the television will not make their brains decompose...Well I just hope that webdate_dot_com will become even better
