No. What *could* happen is this...

If you have a short luteal phase (the time between ovulation and your next period), you are basically infertile. A short luteal phase is usually less than 10 days. It takes at least 6 days for the fertilized egg to make it to the uterus to start implanting. So, if you had a luteal phase of 10 days, that might be long enough. Your period wouldn't have started (or been inevitable) by the time implantation would begin.

If it takes 12 days for the fertilized egg to get to the uterus, then, obviously, a 10 day luteal phase would be too short...so would an 11 day or probably even a 12-13 day luteal phase. It's not a question of when implantation takes place--it's whether there's time for implantation at all!

sperm can live in the uterus for 3-5 days after intercourse, and wait for an egg. so it is possible for you to have sex on the 1st and not actually concieve until the 4th or 5th from there it can take 7-12 days for the egg to implant in the lining of the uterus and you won't get a positive pregnancy test until this happens and sometimes not till a couple days after this happens (depending on the test you use). This really has not much to do with the chance of miscarriage though. I have not really heard of this being a cause of miscarriage because there is no way to tell the exact day that the egg actually implants.
Hope this helps!

I'm honestly not sure just how true that is. Mainly because determining when implantation occurs is very difficult. The only part that I can see being valid is that an embryo that has survived to 12 days AND implanted is much stronger physically than one at 7 days.
