This is just a guess but i would think that a conversation starts and then it turns into an argument. If the couple were home one or the other would walk away but since they are in the car their a trapped audience. Unless one of them pulls over and kicks the other out of the car:)
Having there boyfriend or husband in the car could be the only time a wife or girlfriend gets time with them alone.

Well, I've decided its cause that while your in the car with them, your a captive audience. Unless your willing to just hop out of a moving vehicle, your pretty much stuck with hearing everything that they have been trying to tell you for the last two months!!
Besides....most women find driving or riding for a long period of time stressful, so its not surprising that the irritation that they are feeling spills over into your conversation...especially if you wont stop for directions.

Interesting question - and sorry to hear that is your experience with girlfriends and wives. I am, sorry to burst the bubble here, not one of those. When I am on a long ride it means we are going someplace together and that is exciting to me. Perhaps it's time to change girlfriends and/or wife.

Because the guy always get lost and we have to find our way to where ever we are going and also we like to pick on them when they can't run away it's fun for us ha ha but it's after the fight that counts you know what I mean

while he's in the shower works well also :)
PS, I was joking about the fighting part, we rarely do that. However, I will talk to him in the car or the shower because I have his attention. He can't fiddle with the TV controller at that point.

may u think that if am a gal so am replying like dat but aktually arguue is not onesided u also have given oil to it and while driving it may be bcoz most of men drive rashly

lol i like that one answer about how u cant jump out on us!!... but i guess its becuz we have to be around men for a LONGGGG time on a road trip or something and we need something to pass the time
