To my best recollection, I was around 8 years old when my incest began. It stopped when I was almost 14. This period of time is like looking through ripply water which is a common symptom of stress.

The violence altered my mental health, twisted my thoughts on personal relationships and for nearly 37 years I walked the path of self-destruction. Through a prayer and miracle I moved from victim to survivor.

One day I had the courage to name my experience out-loud. "Incest" That simple expression freed the destructive and dark secret I had held inside for decades.

Then over 5 years (and still counting) I detailed the experience by developing a website http://www.privatefamilymatter.com to help others who still suffer.

It is my goal to reach out to other who still suffer from past childhood trauma. I will help them acknowledge their past pain in order to begin the healing process.

I will always walk the healing path until the end of my life.

(I am downloading specific examples of early secret childhood trauma, as time allows. It is a very complex subject.

I was 26 years old, and I was living in the street, homeless. I looked into this shop and saw my face. All my life came flashing by and then the dreams I wanted in my life to happen.

I looked in that glass and I promised I'd run with the best in business and make it happen. That was the day I changed and ten years later, I am what I promised to be with a businesses all over the world.

It was just a decision away like everyone else's dreams. I made the decision at age of 25 and I kept going through all failures but 11 years later, it kicked off and it went so fast, that I wondered where the heck did all this power, abundance was hiding in begining.

It didn't change forever in an instant; it was over the course of many years. I walked into a bible teaching church at about the age of 45. I am turning 55 this year. In those ten years, I have been in bible study and that is what changed my life. Things are very different than they used to be. I used to be confused and unwise. I now make good decisions, based on what the bible counsels me to do. I am no longer confused. Because of Jesus and God's promises, I am filled with joy and assurance.
