Would the guys still be wearing diapers and nothing else? Would the transexuals have to wear long faux fur coats? Would this hurt or help the parades?

You wouldn't put two parades on the same day. It wouldn't make sense. But if they were, they would still be the same, the Gay Pride would do their thing and The Patrick's Day parade would still do their thing.

some of the guys, perhaps. The thing about Pride parades is that they (at least should) try to represent the WHOLE of the queer community; including some of the fringes. And, we all know what straight suburbia is going to pay attention to: it won't be the group of men marching in business suits. (Incidentally, you should learn to differentiate between drag queens and transsexuals).

In answer to your question, I'd guess there'd be a bigger green stripe on the rainbow.

As for what there is to be proud of: we've survived thus far in a society that is very literally trying to destroy us by whatever means it can. Frankly, that's an accomplishment.

Why do you want to put that kind of schitt on the Irish? The Irish are not gay are they? (As a whole, i mean). And why is a person proud to be gay? What kind of accomplishment is that? If a white person says white pride is he not branded a racist? Whats the difference then?

I think a person should be proud of what he/she accomplishes, not of what he/she is. Being proud of your race, sex, national origin is borderline bigotry because it implies you are better than others.

I see no reason a man should feel pride for cornholing another man. I see no reason a woman should feel prideful for licking or wearing a strapon. There is no accomplishment out of that, its just sex. Anybody can do it.
