I need some new sketchup components and was wondering if there are more out there than just the ones that are offered on the website.

Try this site:
http://www.sketchup.com/index.php?id=56
It has a list of extra components.

If youre talking about the google sketchup, then do this:
To browse the 3D Warehouse, just click the "Get Models" button.

To find Google components add "google-sketchup-component-library" (with the dashes) to your search term. For example, if you want to find trees created by Google modelers, search for [tree google-sketchup-component-library].

There are also many components available from third-party vendors and other SketchUp users.

In addition, any SketchUp model (skp file) becomes a component if you import it into a SketchUp model using "File" › "Import" › "Google SketchUp Files (*.skp)."

You can also make components that you downloaded from the 3D Warehouse or imported available via the Compoent Browswer when you create subsequent models in Google SketchUp:

Open the Component Browser ("Window" > "Components").
Select "In Model" or click the little house button.
Right-click the component, and then click "Save As."
Save it in Google SketchUp "Components" folder, which is located by default at C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp\Components.
Optionally, you can create subfolders in the Components folder to organize the components you are adding.
