No they weren't gay. There were girlfriends in the show.

The whole story line was, Nicole's mother had fallen in love with Michael and Joey and she had a hard time deciding which one she loved more. She ended up leaving so she wouldn't have to choose one over the other. She died and left Nicole to both of them to raise.

In one episode, they were arguing over which one was the dad, so they asked the judge for a paternity test. Nicole and the judge fixed the test so it showed neither as the father, but she had the real results. After their argument, they decided not to find out who was the biological father, because that was the way Marcy (the mother) had wanted it.

Nicole's actual paternity was never revealed on the show.

Although Chad Allen who played Nicole's b/f came out of the closet.

Greg Evigan - he was the ladies man - was definitely not gay. (not to mention he is HOTTTTTTTT) Paul Reiser - the straight n narrow one was not gay just uptight and preppie. They were college roommates who slept with the same woman to have Stacey Keech - the daughter and in the end we found out that the Paul Reiser character was the Dad. I say all this because if anyone is a trivia junkie like me they will drive themselves insane trying to remember it LOL

Obviously if you are asking the question -- you never watched the program. NO they were not gay. They were both in love with the girl's mother and she died and without knowing which was the biological father -- they decide to raise the girl together. They dated and everything on the show.

i don't think they were gay, but how do u become the biological fathers of a human? that's what the whole show was about, the paternity of Stacy Keenan's character was indeterminable, and it was narrowed down to these two guys who got her as a kid, and she called 'em both dad!

the "dads" we def NOT gay...remember the one was like a ladies-man...the one with the mullet, not Paul Reiser. the artist!

Why didn't they just have a blood test to prove who the father was.
