"Determined to find the law that requires American citizens to pay income tax, producer Aaron Russo ("The Rose," "Trading Places") set out on a journey to find the evidence. This film which is neither left, nor right-wing is a startling examination of government. It exposes the systematic erosion of civil liberties in America since 1913 when the Federal Reserve system was fraudulently created. Through interviews with U.S. Congressmen, a former IRS Commissioner, former IRS and FBI agents and tax attorneys and authors, Russo connects the dots between money creation, federal income tax, and the national identity card which becomes law in May 2008. This ID card will use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips which are essentially homing devices used to track people. This film shows in great detail and undeniable facts that America is moving headlong into a fascist police state. Wake up!"

i agree 100%. the creation of the fed and the subsequent dumping of the gold stantard has led to a loss of purchasing power of the dollar on the order of 98%. the income tax is illegal so he wont find anything in the constitution about it. and if you think there wont be any exchange controls anytime soon in the US, you better remember roosevelt's confiscation of the people's gold in the early 30's. it'll happen again. we have been heading in the wrong direction for too many years......

We have never been a truly Free State. It has gotten a lot worse since the ACLU was started. Most people think that businesses run the US which is wrong, the interest groups and the lawyers run America now. The left has been trying to turn the US into a Socialist State since the early 30's. There are many people who don't want to have the Government be able to protect us while they past laws limiting people's freedom to choice such as seat belts, airbags, and smoking. I am a non-smoker who doesn't mind a separate section for smokers but I am against Lawyers and zealots attacking the smoking industry even though warning labels have been on cigarettes since the 70's.

I dont think America will be a free nation any longer because as rights are granted, there will be an increase probability that restrictions will balance the rights and will continue to do that until the restrictions will unequal the equation.
