I agree with what everyone else has said so far.....
I am getting over one right now. Do not squeeze it until it comes to a head!! Wash, wash, wash your hands and anything that comes in contact with the pus. Boils are caused by a staph infection. Staph is HIGHLY contagious. I got mine from my daughter. Mine was the size of a tennis ball and was about to double.....all within two days. I went to the doctor to get antibiotics because I was in a TON of pain. It was on my stomach and I couldn't do a lot.
Remember...... wash, wash, wash with antibacterial soap if you have it!

Depending upon where it is:
1) soak it in luke warm salt water and slowly remove some of the cool water and add hot water, this will allow you to get the soak much hotter than if you just started with hot water. The boil should burst without much pain as the hot water relaxes the skin and the salt draws it out. If it is not in a place you can soak (foot/hand)
2) Use a hot water salt compress, as hot as you can stand it. Don't press just wrap or drape the area in cloths or paper towels that have been soaked in hot salt water. Once the skin is hot enough the salt will help break the blister, then you can gently press out the puss. Make sure to reaply the hot water/salt compress until the boil is flat as the salt will continue to leech the infection out.

There's an ointment called Boil-out, and there are several generic ointments called Drawing Salves that will get rid of them. Just apply a small amount of the ointment to the boil, cover it with a bandage and leave it on over night.

Use hot compress to soften the area, then gently squeeze. Get the rag as hot as you can stand and let it sit on the boil until the rag starts to cool. It will probably take a few tries to get the head out. Don't use a needle to pop it though. I learned that the hard way. Lol!

the true source of boils is in the bloodstream. Oftentimes, boils are a sign of toxins in the blood. Check with a naturopathic doctor or a similarly certified alternative healer about the possibilitiy of candidiasis, parasites or other problems related to digestive function, as well.

You can hot pack it with a hot washcloth over and over hot as you can stand it until it comes to a head and pop it. Just make sure you don't have to go out and do anything that day. Or put some boil ease on it.

apply and cover with a good airtight dressing. Next day it will pop out along with all the pus.
