I do not think it works!!!

Myomancy was a method of divination by rats or mice, which may be alluded to in Isaiah 66:17. Their particular cries or some marked devastation committed by them was taken for a prognostication of evil.

I don't know exactly HOW it works. It is predicting life through the movement of mice. It's probably the same as any other prediction thing where stuff just happened coincidentally so they decided "ooh look, that mouse ran over there at the exact same time as you ate that frog's leg"
