What do you think the chances are of Italy making it to and winning the World Cup Final?

If Italy plays to potential then they can win against anybody. Remember the last time they Played Brazil they took it to shoot out. If Baggio didn't kick it to the moon then Brazil and Italy would both have 4 cups to their name. They have some excellent guys on offence and still a killer defence. The 4-3-3 formation puts an emphasis on striking. If Toni can get it going they will kick ***.
Remember that Italy seems only to play to the skill of their opponents. They always have squeeked by whomever they were playing whether Germany or Saudi Arabia. They typically turn it up a notch when they have to.
The scandal will only help them - they have something to prove. Remember also that Paolo Rossi had baggage back in '82.

Italy can easily win the world cup. Germany has never beaten Italy in a major tournament and brazil have never beaten Italy on european soil. Also the last time Italy won the World Cup was in 1982, and in that time their was also an italian scandal going on!!

Even though I love Italy I think they have a slim chance. Yes they won 3 World Cups b4 but they haven't been playing that good for a long time. I think they'll win against Ukraine but then if they have to play Germany or Brazil they'll be in trouble. They haven't been scoring that much. They seem to just squeek by just in time. It might not fly in the end. But I still love them. Go Italy!!!

No. But Italian fans can still dream about the 30's when Italy were the best team in the world hands-down.

Italy will win over okrania and will meat Germany or Argentina & I think the both is very very very hard to italy.

I'm positive they are going to crush Ukraine, but dont think they could get their win ower Germany.
I think Brazil will be the winner, and it's going to be their 6th worldcup championship.

If they place Bruno Mogli (Juventus executive under suspicion of bribing referees and fixing results)in charge of the squad, I'm pretty sure they can find a way...

It's not going to happen. Even if they make it to the final (and they won't, not with Germany or Argentina in the way), Brazil will slaughter them.
