A little Web search resulted in this:
On Friday, April 30, 1999 - ABC-TV presented a Barbara Walters Special honoring the 100 Women of the Century. The special was organized around the list of 100 women found in the book published by The Ladies Home Journal, thought the show didn’t stick strictly to that list. The list included actresses, comedians, singers, photographers, artists, athletes, dancers, aviators and astronauts, fashion designers, editors, First Ladies, pioneers and adventurers, writers, journalists, musicians and more - of which Jane Fonda was listed among this auspicious group of outstanding Americans. As a result of this list, "Journal Editor" Myrna Blyth received a flood of mail from military veterans, ex-prisoners of war and concerned citizens alike, protesting the naming of "Hanoi Jane" Fonda as one of "America’s 100 Greatest Women" because of her traitorous anti-war activities in Vietnam.

Walters must have been in a drug induced stupor, Jane Fonda is a fake and a fraud. Who else would schlep fitness videos, then years later admit she had an eating disorder. Not to mention how she stabbed the US in the back during Vietnam.

Though Jane is a controversial creature (Vietnam = Hanoi Jane), she started making movies young, got better and better at her art, did those fitness videos - all in all making her someone to remember about the 20th Century.
