there is really no such thing as acting Black since Black people are some of the most diverse people on the planet. But I can't deny that Black men have a swagger that many people try to adopt but never seem to get right.

i don't know either but they sure do look stupid. it makes me sick, and why do they suddenly get a different accent.
i live in florida and these boys have a southern accent and they try to act black and start walking with that limp type walk all leaned back and talk black, it makes me want to say you didn't have that accent last week when you were a redneck.
if they only knew how stupid they looked. why don't the black boys say anything? maybe if the black boys laughed at them they would be embarassed and stop.
and since you got me on a roll, whats up with the big long cars. the white boys who are trying so hard to look like an eminem thug,are driving cars like the impala and the grand marquis. you only look like you are barrowing grandpa's car. be yourself, your real self.

Its not so much acting black, it's acting gangsta which actually is acting incarcerated.
Look at the styles, the slang, and the swagger and you will see it is mimicking the prison life.
Why white kids wanna act like cons, who knows...they are trying to be tough and find their own place in the world...

Because they are immature and unsure of themselves. The silliest ad I ever saw on TV was about a young white man trying out as a rap artist in front of some black producers. They laughingly called him "Mr Ziggy Fly" and of course he failed the audition. It takes some of us a lifetime to find out who we are...and who we are not. And whoever we are is fine!

they are trying to be something that they are not and if you think about it most of them are the rich kids who are doing it to make their rich parents mad cause that is their way of getting attention from them. really to tell you there is no such thing is acting black it is trying to be something that you are not
