today me and my bff found out our classes for next school year. we were sepparated. when we found out she was like "omg, i'm so sad". a few minutes later this guy was like "oh, _ and _ are finally sepparated" and then i heard my friend saying "yeah, i know, well thats actually a GREAT THING..."
i was really hurt at the moment, but then she was as friendly to me as always. i don't get what made her say that, and why if she hates me, she is friendly to me?
help, i'm so confused.

confront her about this. she is a true friend if she says she's sry and that she will never do it again. but if she is/has done this more that once then dump your friend

You've got two options: Confront or ignore.
If you confront her, chances are it will be awkward and tense, or she may completely deny the whole thing. But getting things out in the open can be a good thing.
You could also ignore it, and pretend you didn't hear anything. But then you'll always wonder about it every time you're with her.
I would get her where she's alone, somewhere quiet and away from other people, and say "I heard you say this to that guy. It really hurt me and I'd like to know what's up. What made you say that? Do you want to continue to be friends?"
She might just need some space, but she needs to know that talking the way she did is disrespectful to you and if there's a problem, she's better off telling YOU personally, so it can be dealt with.

Number One: Confront her about it in a nice manner.
Number Two: If she gets mad and says something mean, then I say friends come and go and this is one that needs to go.
She may be saying it to either make you look bad, or make herself look cool. She's nice to you, because maybe you've never done anything to her to make her mean towards you. Or she wants to fit in with everyone else that she's going to end up having no one in the end.

Maybe she didnt mean it as its a "great thing" in a bad way...maybe she meant finally u two can stand on ur own and be independent...bcuz me and my bf always had classes together...and we were very dependent on each other and that was a bad thing...just talk to her about it and see what she says...how long have you two been best friends?

Sounds like she doesnt like to be around you all the time, she wants to have her own set of friends, and not revolve around your friendship and the people you both hang out with. Let her have her own set of friends, you can do the same thing and still be friends. Have your own Indentities in school.

ppl need to break away from long relationships sometimes. if you and her have always been in everything together this could be a good thing bc now youwill be able to meet new ppl

well ask her about it say some one told u she said it if she says she didnt say it then tell her you heard her say it and that if she was so happy you to were separated then why didnt she just say that at first and then tell her to go to hell you dont need a back stabbing friend
