I preferred the smaller one because it was easy to stick in the little remote control holder, you know? and it made great padding for taking notes during a phone call - also was a good and quick drink coaster. I didn't collect them, but as a collector the small one's would be easier to keep around I think.

I grew up with the short fat ones & I liked them a lot... but the big ones are nice I guess but easier to damage or lose amoung other mags.

It doesn't matter. Why buy them when you get tv guide/week (from local paper) for free?
