If you want to teach in an American school abroad, go to the US Dept of State website. They don't hire you through the government, but this is the source for finding all the US-curriculum-based schools out there. Most of these schools require at least a bachelors degree (most prefer a masters), at least two years teaching experience, and all prefer teachers who have taught abroad before (no surprise there). I've looked into it for the future, and it is VERY competetive. Most of these schools get hundreds of unsolicited resumes every school year. Most of them also list on their websites where the job fairs from which they hire are. Go to as many near you as you can. Good luck!

I don't have the exact names but my friend just got a job teaching at an American school in Milan, Italy. He went to a job fair in Boston about 4 months ago and by the end of the weekend was offered jobs in 8 different countries.
Go online and do some reasearch for American schools abroad and you should find information on how to apply. You should also try the schools that are on American military bases in other countries as well. You can go to the department of defense website for that info.

Look up on the web for an organization called "Teachers Without Borders"
You will most likely need an bachelors degree in education and a teaching certificate...

Try the peace corps, they are always looking for people to teach in most every part of the world, provided you're open to doing some good. They'll take anyone with a B.A., as I recall. I'm joining next summer to do just that!
