I don't usually care about other people; or what they think of themselves...but if the chance does arise that I run into a "snob" I usually just tell myself that I'm smart, sure of myself, and that my husband thinks I'm the sexiest thing alive. That usually does the trick for me...
If I get the chance to actually talk to said snob, I usually ask them what the monster is called in Mary Shelly's Frankenstein...since most people don't know, or they say that the monster is called Frankenstein...well, I feel better about myself right there. Looks aren't everything, you have to have a mind as well...and that, to some degree, I've got...so I flaunt it. Happy Self-Esteem Everyone.

When I see a person who seemingly believes him or herself to be better than anyone else, I have to take a step back and really try to figure out what she (for the sake of discussion) actually believes herself to be. Often, a person may present herself as being superior to or better than those around her, when in all actuality, she is simply insecure with who she really is. Called leveling, this is when an insecure person will either actively build herself above those around her, or may even begin to belittle others to bring them down to the level she believes she is on.
So, with that knowledge, I really think about what may be in this person's heart to make them act that way? What can I do to really help, support, or encourage them? It's a constant battle, but in the end, it's a much better reaction than to cut that person down.

Normally I wonder what they are lacking in their lives that makes them feel they should have to be better than anyone else. I think people like that are very self conscious. They normally have one reason in their head that they think they are better, whether it be how much money they have, how attractive they are, with whom they are friends. But I find often times they focus on this one idea to compensate for other areas of life where they feel they are lacking. So generally, I feel bad for them.

When you know that you are better than everyone it is a sign that you have been spending too much time with cats.
Dogs look up to you, cats look down on you. Only pigs think you are their equal.

People that are like that are after attention good or bad. When they act like that they are just seeking attention which is sad if you think about. They have to go to such extremes to get any kind of attention which is pathetic just like them.

I think that they need to open their eyes, and look at the world around them. As some guy once said, "There's always someone better than you."

I just smile and know that they're very insecure inside because they're afraid to show all of themselves.
