i just learned this from our lawn spraying guy, and i found it so very interesting. lol i am a nerd i suppose. has anyone heard this before?
we apparently have a big issue with the grub worms, and now are dealing with the damage.

i hope that they dont stay around here, that's for sure, how about the neighbor behind us that i don't like, why not his yard? : P

Warm weather brings Japanese beatles to the surface. They move up and down underneath the soil. They move closer to the surface with warm weather and borrow down in cold. Treat them in early fall while it is still warm and before they have done their damage. Use insecticides. In the summer, you can dig up some soil and see how deep they are. Over 2" and you cannot kill them in any great numbers.

They do not stay underground for seven years like we have all heard. It will help if your neighbors kill theirs, too. Good luck.

I didn't know that! I HATE June bugs! I did my hair all curly one day last summer and one was crawling around in it for a while before I noticed... it was horrid.
