Sadly going back to work next week when I finish mine :(

If you've taught full time for more than a year you are entitled to 12 months.

I can only tell you what I got:

Payment of varying degrees for the first 6 months - short time at full pay, short time at 90% then down to 50% for slightly longer then statutory amount (approx £420ish) until the end of the first 6 months.

Nothing for the next 6

Your LEA will have someone in Personnel who can tell you your rights.

Check with your Teachers Union - they will give you a definitive answer! It may also make a difference when the baby is born! If it is born so that maternity leave ends at the start of the summer holiday, check what happens!

Good luck with your pregnancy!

I am pretty sure that it is everone's right to have up to 12 months. The last 6 months are without pay. Next year, only the last 3 will be without pay.
