Go to the store together, buy some deli meat like cajun roast beef or peppered turkey, a block of cheese. strawberries and some whipped cream. Take a blanket for a picnic before you leave home. Buy a two litter drink and a bag ice. Don.t forget the cups. Take her to a mountain top if you're near mountains, a nice country setting with a nice view, or a park . Spread the blanket, lay out the picnic, comment on how nice your day is going, comment on the scenery around you. Tell a joke or two, ask her personal questions about her life, tell her a bit about yours as you wrap the meat around the cheese then feed t to her. A box of crackers would be good also. Makes great finger food. Ice the glassess or cups, pour the drink and toast to a new beginning. Good luck hun

Picnics are always romantic, but then again you are gamlbing on the coperation of mother nature.
One of the chepeast/romantic dates that I had ever been on was when we bused around town for no reason what so ever, Kind of like in the movie 40 days and 40 nights. We just hung around taking the bus and checking out various places from the window, which we scouted for later dates. All in all it was pretty cool, and fun just hanging and getting to know the other person....

Since I can cook, I would consider making dinner and buying a bottle of Champagne and having a delightful dinner in the park on a nice blanket.

For those of you who can not cook, I would buy something from an Italian or Greek restaurant. Champagne or a nice wine spritzer would be good as well.

This is cost effective without having to tip anyone, oh and don't forget the music......

Picnic in the park. You can make some sandwiches, chips, etc. Find a nice area in the park...spread out a blanket or throw and just enjoy the time together. You can also feed each other and men love flowers too. You can give him one red rose just b/c!! That is also a good way to get to know someone much better. Good Luck!!!

Picnics, walks in the park or on the beach, those are the old stand bys, and for good reasons. You are on your own, no one to bother you, and it's just you and them, talking and getting to know one another, and it's cheap too.
There is usually a hot dog stand or ice cream vendor, to visit, so money really isn't a problem.

A dinner on the beach at dusk - pack together dinner, a blanket, and maybe a small lantern or candles - and viola, romantic dinner for cheap!

Pack a basket with some snack stuff and take him somewhere like the mountains or the lake. It helps to get in the mood and to get things off of your chest when your watching a beautiful sunset.

Good luck on that one, these days it seems like paying attention's too expensive...but, for a low-cost get-together, there's always going for a walk, or go roll around the mall or the park or something, go get some ice cream...that kind of thing...
